Rosie

This 2½-year-old, 11-lb Shih Tzu/Poodle is a sweet, affectionate lady who would make the perfect “first dog.” Rosie loves every human she meets, has never had an accident in her foster home, and comes with an adorable bark for every occasion. Queen of the couch and the end of your bed! She knows “sit” and can fetch, is food motivated but doesn’t beg, and is totally happy being carried everywhere. Rosie would prefer to be an only dog so she can soak up all the attention.

Rosie was surrendered by her owner along with three other dogs. She had a metal pin in her leg from a previous surgery that was never removed, causing her pain. Now fully cared for in her foster home, she’s playful, funny, communicative, and affectionate — truly a sassy little diva!
