Angela

Angela is a 5-year-old Chihuahua, weighing just 6 lbs, with a heart full of love despite everything she’s been through. She’s incredibly affectionate and happiest when she’s close to her person — whether you’re working, relaxing, or just spending quiet time together. She loves burrowing under blankets, enjoys car rides, and has a playful, smart personality that continues to shine more each day.

Angela is an abuse survivor who suffered head trauma before being rescued. When she first came into care, she struggled with balance and constant spinning, but with time, patience, and love, she has made amazing progress and continues to grow stronger every day. She is currently under medical care and improving, showing that she is bright, aware, and full of life.

She’s still working on potty training and may be vocal at times, especially when she wants to be near her person. Angela would do best in a patient, understanding home that can give her the structure, care, and love she needs to continue thriving. She may do best as the only dog or with a younger, playful companion.

This little girl has been through so much, but she has so much love left to give to the right person.
